Funding available for PhD projects to be based at DTU Aqua in Copenhagen

The DANIEL JOUVANCE- Institut de France Foundation gives out a prize of 4000 € annually to a young scientist working in marine biology, marine chemistry, marine biotechnology or oceanography.

PhD and PostDoc funding available

Nordic Network for Baltic Remote Sensing has two mobility grants available for PhD students each year (2012, 2013, and 2014). The grant covers travel and accommodation costs for short research visits, with a maximum of 20.000 NOK.

The PhD fellow will be part of the project "Strengthening the adaptive capacity of institutions in fisheries: funded by The Norwegian Research Council as part of the Programme "Climate Change and its impacts on Norway" (NORKLIMA).

The position is available from August 15th for a period of 3 years.

The Government of Canada is offering one-year Post-Doctoral Research Fellowships (PDRF) to researchers coming from Norway who want to pursue a project at a Canadian University.

Regions of Knowledge is a funding opportunity through the Research Council of Norway. There is potential to coordinate the develop of a proposal linked to NorMER through this program.
